I recently purchased a Ventures Wilson Brothers guitar (VM110 model) from UK supplier Adam Hall Ltd. The instrument is a combination of a Fender Jazzmaster and Mosrite guitar, and on first hearing through an amp it has that Jazzmaster twang which is what I was hoping for.

The hugely talented Paul Johnson (composer of Mr Moto) has a cracking website with hundreds
of tunes to listen to and downloads at just $1 each (50p in UK currency).
Several albums are available to download at just $10 each - that's under a fiver!!
I have just tried it myself with PJ's album 'Liquid Blues' and I'm listening to it now as I type this.
The actual CD artwork is also online to download free. All very clever stuff and an absolute bargain.
Have a day off from your usual listening and give Paul a try, it'll be worth your while. Click icon.

Unfortunately, after several emails asking a member of The Scorpions to remove two EMI-owned titles from his website (which I supplied to him for his own private use), my request has been refused and therefore The Scorpions will not feature on ANY Instro Beat releases. No worries though because he has sold out to a home-produced label and all The Scorpions tracks are now available on CD-R - wow, such progress, he must be dead proud of his music, eh?
Apparently, according to this guy, the word is I've bitten off more than I can chew with Instro Beat. Well, I'll show all the doubters out there. And bootleggers take note, I have a five year exclusive license from EMI on all Instro Beat titles so if anyone rips me off I promise I'll sue you.
